It’s been twenty years since my last recording The Busker. As they say, “time flies when you’re having fun” .
My new release 'No commitments except those created by chance'  is as the name implies, simply about coming to terms with chance. A
reoccurring theme throughout my life. A very long and drawn out title I’ve been told, for such a perfectly imperfect,
spontaneous and not very commercial album. This name was particularily important for me, and there has to be some
advantages of creative freedom in being an independent artist. These few songs collected here, are representive
of the story of my life. Things that neatly fall into place, governed by little more than chance, mixed maybe with a
sprinkle of luck. Chance encounters with friends, old and new, in places, situations, states of mind, observed in awe
with acceptance. And I watch it all, from what seems a distance. Happy that these paths have been crossed.

Sono passati 20 anni dalla mia ultima registrazione 'The Busker'. Come si dice, "il tempo vola quando ti stai divertendo...
La mia nuova release 'No commitments, except those created by chance' (Nessun impegno, eccetto quelli che si creano per caso) è, come suggerisce il titolo stesso, semplicemente un venire a patti con il caso, il tema ricorrente nei vari passaggi della mia vita. Un titolo troppo lungo e prolisso,mi è stato obiettato, per un album così perfettamente imperfetto, del tutto spontaneo e per nulla commerciale. Però, in realtà, questo titolo era particolarmente importante per me e ci dovrà pur essere qualche vantaggio nell’essere un artista indipendente, se non altro dando piena sovranità alla propria libertà creativa! Alcuni dei brani qui raccolti, sono rappresentativi della storia della mia vita. Cose che ordinatamente vanno al loro posto, guidate da poco più che un caso, magari aiutate da un briciolo di fortuna. Incontri fortuiti con amici, vecchi e nuovi, in luoghi, situazioni, stati d'animo... Ed osservo tutto, apparentemente, da una certa distanza, felice che questi percorsi si siano, in qualche modo, incrociati. Spero mi concediate il vostro ascolto e grazie per esser passati di qui.
